Opened 1999, operated by Jumeirah Group, directly in front of the Burj Al Arab. Smaller than Aquaventure — 12 hectares, 30 rides — but with a backdrop that produces a specific kind of photograph. The Jumeirah Sceirah is the headline: a 33-metre drop at 80km/h, ridden simultaneously by two people side by side.

Older and more manageable than Aquaventure — shorter queues on busy days, easier to see everything in one visit. Afternoon entry is available at reduced rates; the light on the Burj from 4pm is significantly better than it sounds.
