This is my Dubai is editorially independent. We accept advertising to help cover hosting, maintenance, and editorial time — not to fund a company, not to make money we don't need.
Current advertising formats: display ads served by Google AdSense, placed in non-intrusive positions within the layout. We may also carry occasional direct sponsorships, clearly labelled.
Advertising does not influence editorial content. No advertiser can request placement within an entry, a glossary definition, or any editorial element of the site. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly marked as such and kept separate from the handbook itself.
We do not accept advertising for gambling services, adult content, payday or predatory lending, or any category we consider inconsistent with the handbook's character.
We reserve the right to block any ad category or individual ad unit at our discretion.
