A narrow pipe — typically 15–25 centimetres long — made from wood, bone, horn, or metal, used to smoke dokha. The bowl is small; one pinch of tobacco is one smoke. The long stem cools the smoke slightly before it arrives.
Midwakh pipes range from the basic (AED 10–20 at any petrol station) to elaborately crafted pieces in camel bone or silver. Cleaning and maintaining one is part of the practice for regular users. Not packaged for tourists — just a thing people here have always done.
