Dokha is a sun-dried tobacco blend — often mixed with herbs, bark, and spices — with a nicotine concentration significantly higher than cigarettes. The name is Arabic for dizziness, which is exactly what a strong draw produces: a brief, intense head rush lasting twenty to thirty seconds.
Smoked through a midwakh. Sold at petrol stations and corner shops across the UAE. AED 5–20 for a small tube. Varieties run mild to aggressively strong — beginners are reliably warned about this and reliably ignore the warning.
