An artificial island developed by Aldar as Abu Dhabi's entertainment anchor — Yas Marina Circuit (Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix), Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, Yas Waterworld, Yas Mall, and a cluster of hotels built over and alongside the track. Everything is close, transport is well-organised, and the concentration of attractions makes a weekend trip genuinely viable.

During the F1 weekend in November the island transforms: hotels at three or four times normal rates, the paddock briefly the most expensive address in the UAE. Outside F1 week it's a well-run theme park resort that Dubai does not yet have an equivalent to.
