Opened 1991 in Bur Dubai, making it one of the city's earliest malls — predating Deira City Centre by four years and Dubai Mall by nearly two decades. Has been extended, refurbished, and repositioned multiple times since.

Sits directly on the BurJuman metro station, which gives it a consistent footfall from the surrounding Bur Dubai neighbourhood — one of the more genuinely mixed residential areas of the city, with large South Asian, Filipino, and Arab communities. The crowd reflects this.
